Thomas Walker is the apparent heir to The Walker Company; he was previously in charge of the research and development branch of Walker, supervising Tamsin Jones and others working in the field of nanotechnology.
As of the passing of his father, Franklin Thomas has had to move up quickly to the new position. While his rapid rise may be due to his relations, Thomas has shown signs of being a savvy negotiator and understanding of business practices and where his limits are. Given time, he could lead Walker into an era of prosperity.
Friends have shown concern about a worsening condition of post-traumatic stress, as evidenced by Tamsin Jones finding him suffering a panic attack. So those around him have circled the wagons and begun to be more protective of him and his perception in public. He has not engaged with any media after the passing of his father, and before stepping up to the big chair is taking a sabbatical to process and prepare for his new role.
